Kevlar Starr – “Fly Guy Mixtape Freestyle”
This is the first video introducing Kevlar Starr. I was in Memphis a couple of months back shooting a gig and my brother Kev aka Kevlar just started working on his mixtape. He played this freestyle for me, and I fell in love with it. I knew we had to shoot a video for it. So the next day we shot this in four hours with no crew. Nothing forced, just two creative minds wanting to create something special. I hope you enjoy. He is currently still working on his mixtape Veni Vidi Vici. I will post it here when he is done. After listening to this song on Lil Wayne’s Rebirth album, I was inspired to direct a video for it. His lyrics were heart felt and echoed with emotion. I set out to create something that would bring his words to life. Overall I am very happy with the way it turned out, and proud to say it has received 10,105 views in the first four weeks it has been released! Thank you all for watching… FREE WEEZY!
