Fear once got a hold of him
Fear was the better man
Took everything away from him
Made him less of a man
Took his livelihood
Robbed him of all that he thought or understood
Fear locked him up and threw away the key
Fear turned him cold, brought him down to his knees
Fear was the reason, fear was the cause
Fear made him give up his dreams
Fear stalled his progress, kept him on pause
But one day he broke those shackles, broke out of jail
Waged a personal vendetta
Kidnapped fear and told him he would forever rot in hell
Now with fear gone, he stood tall like a man
No more fear around to stop him, that was the day his life truly began.
